
Laura Counts, MA, LMFT
Laura Counts is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides mental health services as well as training and consultation to a variety of professionals in the areas of early development, strengthening families, challenging behaviors, reflective practice and trauma-informed care. Laura is also a clinical supervisor and provides reflective individual and group supervision to MFT Interns and Associates. Laura holds a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology with and emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University.
Laura is passionate about increasing awareness and training around Infant Mental Health and believes that families who feel supported by their communities, create thriving and resilient children. Laura is also dedicated to supporting new therapists discover their strengths and become effective and mindful clinicians on their path to licensure. Laura is endorsed as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist and Reflective Practice Facilitator II by the California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health. She is also a Center on Social Emotional Foundations of Early Learning Coach, and was a Lead Trainer and Consultant with Zero to Three on the Prenatal through Three Workforce Development Project.
