We partner with trained volunteers and community groups to offer a variety of programs to strengthen families. Children and parents enjoy programs such as reading groups, nutrition classes, nature clubs, parenting workshops and more. Through the power of play, parents and children have fun developing the skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives.

With a focus on the benefits of nature in children’s healthy development, the ELC offers activities and special events that support your child’s social-emotional development and school-readiness through literacy, art, science, music, gardening, health and wellness activities that can be accomplished with parents, caregivers, siblings and new friends from the ELC.

Facilitated by trained volunteers, Mighty Motor Skills, Discovery Zone and Storytime offer exciting moments to bond while explaining the developmental importance of play. Healthy and Fit Together, Garden Club and Music and Movement build healthy lifestyle habits while getting kids connected with nature and exercise. Check out our calendar for more information.

My daughter LOVES the Healthy and Fit Class and she thinks story time is wonderful. We have enjoyed Yoga and Sensory classes. Really, she loves ALL the programs. The volunteers here are wonderful! When you ask anything, they help and they are so kind. Everything we learn at the ELC is such great reinforcement for what I am teaching her at home. This important education from ELC helps support me as a mom. It is great to have free play and many activities and toys to choose from. We know how good this is for our kids. My daughter asks me to go there every day because she loves it so much.
