The Child Development Institute advocates for change in public policy to positively impact young children and their families.
As an active participant in the local community, we advise numerous groups on best practices for the care and wellbeing of infants and young children. We remain current on legislative issues related to young children and raise community awareness that impacts the care and services for all children. CDI hosts parent and advocate cafes throughout the year and participates in numerous public policy committees.
CDI is an involved member on the Board for Infant Development Association (IDA) and the Board of the DIR Coalition of California. These groups are politically active on all policies that impact young children.
