
Dana Kalek, Ed.D.
Dr. Dana Kalek is the Director of Operations at the Child Development Institute, where she manages overall program efficacy and ensures contract compliance. Dana holds a Masters of Arts degree in Child Development from Cal State University, Northridge and a Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership-Educational Psychology from Pepperdine University. Dana has been working in the field of early intervention for over 20 years by supporting and influencing those relationships that impact early development in children.
Dana is passionate about increasing awareness of positive parent-child relationships and is dedicated to increasing the workforce in this field. Dana teaches child development as an adjunct professor at several community colleges, has presented at various international conferences and has published several journal articles that focus on the importance of the parent-child relationship. Dana also holds a Certificate in Infant-Toddler Family Mental Health.
