Shannon Lawler, MS, MFT
Shannon Lawler is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with children and families facing a variety of behavioral, communication and interpersonal challenges utilizing an attachment-focused, relationship-based approach. Shannon has worked with children of all ages in both individual and group settings to help address developmental and other socialization challenges. Shannon has also worked extensively with parents to help them recognize, cope with, and address their children’s unique needs. Shannon is a graduate from California State University, Northridge, where she received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy.
Shannon is also a clinical supervisor and provides reflective individual and group supervision to MFT Interns and Associates. Additionally, Shannon has a particular passion for supporting prenatal and postnatal mental health, mindful parenting and play therapy for children. Shannon has completed a certification in treating Perinatal Mood Disorders, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and variety of courses and trainings geared towards play therapy and early intervention.
